Nottingham was recently recognized as one of the 2019 Best Employers in North Carolina by Business North Carolina magazine.
This annual survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in North Carolina who benefit the state’s economy, workforce and businesses. Nottingham ranked #15 in the small-to-medium company category.

To be considered for inclusion on this list, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- Have a facility in the state of North Carolina
- Have a minimum of 15 employees working in the state of North Carolina
- Be in business a minimum of one year
Companies based throughout North Carolina entered a comprehensive two-part survey process to determine the rankings. The first part evaluated each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the overall employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
